It's been a while since I made a post. Here's what i've been working on:

The Dark Treaty colours.

This took me about 6 days. Damn worth it though, I'm quite proud of how this turned out.

Cover inks

This took me a while to do, but I like it.

Cover thumbnails

I did some thumbnails in attempts to find something I like for the cover. I quite like the pensive gazing out of the window thumbnail. Might go with that one.

Title artwork

It's often an overlooked artform, but typography plays a crucial part in any comic book. I always take a whole day, or a half a day when I work on a new comic book just to come up with the title artwork.

A comic book I've got in the works called "the dark treaty", the title work is done. I'm pretty happy with this:

Clutching at straws issue 0

Here's the cover to Clutching at straws issue 0. I really liked how this whole issue came out, and I did it all from front to back in a week and a half. How? Don't ask me, seriously... I don't know.

Inked and coloured poster. GTG!

All done. This took me most of the day to ink and colour, but I feel it came out ok. I put in the order for this to be printed as a poster for the convention later this month, so it will be available for purchase.

Sketches Ahoy!

I'm preparing for Supanova hitting Perth. I want to sell original sketches while I'm over there, so I've been sketching a bunch of them, and of course keeping the originals.
Here they are:

This one is oooooold

I drew this picture aaages ago as a wedding present, but never really finished it for them. I put some time into getting it all finished so here's the end product.

Inks. Check.

Here's the completed inks to this picture. I don't think I will commit this to colours.
Done deal?! Let me know what you think... I'm open to suggestions.

Revisiting old work

I'm working on redoing this old picture from MWTF. I added the car in since the last version. Next i'm going to set out to do this with block shadows, like sin city. Hopefully it will come out looking really nice. I'll post up any efforts after this.

I love me some inking.

You're probably all used to seeing these by now, but I'm still doing them. The infamous photo draw over inking exercise. I try and do one of these every now and again, just so I can get better at my feathering and line weight. You know, it actually works too, I picked up on a lot of things this time around, it's beginning to show.

Page 15 Pencils

I did some work on the pencils for page 15 today, this is what I nutted out.
In frame 2, they're supposed to be exhausted and trying to catch their breath, but that was a little bit tricky to draw. I think some more sweat marks and some sound effect wordart will do it.

I'll colour this piece in soon I think, there's some things I want to practice.

Griftin, about time!

This took literally ages to get finished.
Primarily, this was only ever an inking exercise. I feel like this is a complete mess!! I'll probably still colour it though. :D

Keep an eye out for that.

Inking exercise

Another inking exercise, this time of my gorgeous sister Alison. A great subject to practice different tones of hair colour. I think for the most part, it turned out ok.
